From the hospitality, the organization, the decor, the company and most importantly the food, this High Chai was just delightful, decadent and divine! Chins shared her childhood memories with us through her delicious masala chai with lemongrass - nostalgic of her time in Kenya. The table was beautifully decorated with indian flair. Savoury dishes were brought out first - all presented perfectly and so utterly divine! Theplas, dhokla and pakoras and amazing bread - all homemade! Chutneys and dips accompanied these dishes along with as many refills of tea as we desired.
Sweet dishes were brought out and all our eyes lit up at the sight of scones with cinnamon cream, gulab jamun cupcake ( my husbands favourite), chai infused orange macaroons and posset and nankhatai. Mithai desserts are Chins speciality and OMG were these desserts good!!
Chintal and her husband were amazing hosts and made sure that everyone was comfortable and happy and I had an absolutely lovely time.
I would give the High Chai a score of 10/10 for the food and 10/10 for the hospitality. I can't wait till she has her next one!
