Holi is the festival of colours celebrated in India. Come March spring arrives in the sub continent after a harsh Himalayan winter (North and North East). People are in the mood to celebrate. And celebrate they do with colours, water balloons, music and of course good food and lots of drinks.
This Holi we are bringing you a specially curated vegetarian feast from the kitchens and streets of North India. It may be too cold to douse in coloured water, but just perfect for this indulgent lunch.
