hosted by Ginger & Cacao
We are hosting an Afternoon Tea inspired by flavours of Malaysia to raise funds for our fellow Malaysians affected by the 6.0 magnitude earthquake that struck the sleepy town of Ranau, in Sabah, East Malaysia on 5th June 2015.
As this is a cause very close to our hearts, Ginger & Cacao will be bear the full cost of this event so that funds raised through ticket sales and donations can be forwarded directly to those in need.
Mount Kinabalu stood at 13,435ft tall and is a World Heritage Site. When the earthquake struck, it destroyed the climbing trails and left 137 climbers stranded at the peak of the mountain. It was thanks to the bravery and dedication of the mountain guides who brought these climbers back to safety. Brave men whom have now lost their jobs with the climbing trails destroyed.
As a thank you to our local heroes, we join hundreds of people whom are rallying to raise funds for the guides of Mount Kinabalu. And we implore you to join us and support a great cause.
