• K-Town has officially arrived • -

One of London's newest and most authentic Korean fusion experiences. K-Town offers Korean fried chicken in a variety of special homemade glazes. The launch event is taking place on Saturday 19th September at the popular food pop up venue, Maida Hill Place, in West London.

Fried chicken is one of the fastest growing food trends in South Korea and the industry is now worth an estimated £2 billion. K-Town chicken is much different than the High Street version you are used to. It not only has an ultra-crispy tempura batter, it is cooked in 100% sunflower oil, which is lower in cholesterol than vegetable oil, and is coated in secret K-Town glazes. Furthermore, K-Town only uses free range chicken which is sourced here in the UK.

For the launch event, food will be served throughout the day. The menu will start with Korean sliders, offering a choice of spicy chicken, slow cooked pork belly and beef bulgogi. This will be followed by the main dish, Korean Fried Chicken and a selection of special glazes, which will be accompanied by Kimchi Fried Rice. You will be able to wash the delicious food down with a variety of Korean Soju Cocktails or world famous Korean beer.

Visited Maida Hill Pop up last Saturday and experienced the wonderful Korean food that was available. I have to say that the chicken was simply amazing and even my fussy 9 year old daughter who is normally not adventurous raved about how juicy, succulent and tasty the chicken was. It puts other fast foods to shame....
We shall certainly be ordering K-town again !
