Four Courses of Mauritian Home-cooked Delights, Bingo & BYOB!
Vien Gouté (come and taste) authentic and delicious Mauritian food! A welcoming rum cocktail will set the scene for a Four-Course menu of Mauritian home-cooked delights to bring back the essence of summer.
Mauritians love a good get together, and it's traditional to have a good old game of bingo! So to share this tradition at our supperclub we will be hosting bingo games between courses with each winner guaranteed a prize! No charge to play and prizes include a bottle of wine.
With Mauritian cuisine being a unique blend of Creole, European and Asian flavours you are guaranteed flavours to excite the taste buds!
What's more it's BYOB!
We have rented out a hall in Dalston for the supperclub.
**Menu**
Starters:
Creole bruschetta with crumbled 'gateaux piments' (classic chilli fritters) and 'satini tomate' (tomato chutney) (V)
Saltfish cutlets accompanied with 'satini cotomilli' (coriander chutney)
Mains:
Carri masala poulet (Mauritian curried chicken) served alongside
- Dahl flavoured with moringa stem (V)
- Mum's special aubergine curry (V)
- 'Zasar legumes' (vegetable pickle seasoned with mustard seeds) (V)
- Fiery potatoes with black sesame seeds (V)
- 'Kutcha pomme' (apple kutcha) (V)
- Basmati rice
Dessert:
Mauritian inspired Passion fruit and white chocolate cheesecake with a hint of ginger
