Come try Filipino food and celebrate the diversity of the London that we all know and love with The Adobros!
As part of the #MyLondonSupperclubs series organised by Asma Khan of Darjeeling Express, The Adobros are proud to bring to you our take on the Filipino food we grew up with, such as:
- Adobo Chicken Wings (a twist on the Filipino national dish),
- 48 Hour Beef Short Rib Kare Kare (a rich peanut, coconut and fermented shrimp paste stew said to have originated in the Muslim South of the Philippines), and
- Sans Rival (a celebration cake of dacquoise and buttercream layers that became popular during the Spanish colonial era)
- (Vegetarian options are available; unfortunately, we cannot cater for nut allergies with this particular menu)
We feel that this is a menu that reflects the rich diversity of food and culture in the Philippines, and so is a fitting tribute to our adopted home: London.
So what are you waiting for? Kain na tayo! Let's eat now!

I live for fresh takes on classic Filipino dishes and the Adobros hit the mark in a big way. The dishes were straight-forward but done so well. The spicy adobo chicken wings were done to perfection - getting the balance right between the spicy and vinegary goodness of the adobo flavour, all the while enhancing the tender freshness of the chicken itself. The short rib kare kare with long beans was also well done. The meat came off the bone and the sauce was delicate and rich at the same time. The calamansi palate cleanser was delicious and quenched a thirst that I didn't know I had. The ube sans rival was, well so Filipino in its blatant disregard for healthy eating and instead was a sheer celebration of the occasion and of the lively ambiance created in the corner of 68 and Boston. The bar staff were also delightful and their recommended wine paring went perfectly with the food. Kudos all! I'd happily return for more!
