Autumn in Nepal is a time of celebration! The extravagant feasting of Dashain & Tihar, celebrated by both Hindus and Buddhists, takes place during Autumn.
Rajiv's Kitchen is bringing you a slice of Nepalese festive feast to you. There is such a wonderful array of food to choose from, and we have chosen 4 courses compromising of some of the most loved festive dishes for you to sample & as we do in Nepal during festivities, the night will be concluded with a shot of Nepalese rum!
MENU:

PRE-STARTER:
Momos: Chicken momos served with sesame and tomatoes chutney.
STARTER:
Maasu Bara: Lentils & minced Lamb Nepalese patties served with tomatoes & coriander chutney.

MAIN:
Khasi ko Maasu: Nepalese goat curry, slow cooked with Nepalese herb & spices.
Chicken Chili: Marinated chicken, cooked with capsicum, green chillies and Nepalese spices.
Kukhura ko achaar: Spicy & tangy Chicken pickle, Nepalese style. (Served at room temperature)
Kera ko achaar: Banana & potatoes fresh pickle with garden peas and Shiso seeds.
Farsi ko tarkaari: Nepali Pumpkin curry cooked with mustard, cumin & ghee.
Jogi tarkaari: Mixed seasonal vegetable curry ( Courgettes, Mushrooms, Flat beans & Chick peas).
Kaalo Daal: Black gram daal cooked with ginger & tempered with ghee & jimbu (herb found only in the mountainous regions of Nepal). Served with fresh lime.
. ****Main is served with paratha bread/fragrant rice.

DESSERT:
Sel Roti: Nepalese sweet ring-shaped rice bread/doughnut, prepared during festivals & celebration. Served with lime infused coconut ice cream.

(The venue is situated above the best-loved corner shop in Lower Clapton: Palm 2; offering a cozy & relaxed atmosphere.)
Direction: When you enter the Palm2 shop, make your way to the wine section, go out the door (located by wine section) and up the stairs where the venue is.
