Want a job cooking on the slopes? This two week cookery course will prepare you you in more ways than simply cooking for that job.
Teaching you the core skills in week one the course moves on to build on the repertoire of recipes (covering various dietary requirements) that you can produce quickly and efficiently. We also help with time management and the A-Z of kitchen safety to keep the resort managers on side. With inside tips on house-keeping and service skills you will minimise the time in the chalet and maximise the time on the slopes yet still give your guests the holiday they expect.
Even before the course starts we assist with CV and job applications and during week two you get the chance to meet leading ski companies who visit looking for great candidates.
All students will take the Level 2 Food Hygiene & Safety Certificate course and exam.
You will leave with the Wyld Cookery Book, the Wyld Chalet Bible plus a snazzy Wyld apron and mug. Plus a great CV, contact list and application letter plus Level 2 FHS (but you must pass the exam!).
Great news for Duke of Edinburgh Gold award students- you can use one of these weeks for your residential course if you stay with the Wyld Cookery School!
