“Anna's style of teaching is calm, friendly, educational and relaxed. I felt she really engaged with the group and gave exceptional tips.”
“Thanks again for such a brilliant day and for sharing your wonderful skills. I can't believe how much we made and how much I learned in your lovely kitchen!”

My husband and I attended Anna's Home Bread Workshop and cannot recommend it highly enough. We really really enjoyed the whole day and learnt so much - Anna is a fantastic teacher and fits so much in to the day. Anna has a really lovely personality and makes everyone feel at ease and at home in her beautiful kitchen. We really enjoyed sharing experiences with the other participants too. It was such a treat to sit and eat a delicious lunch together and then to take the bread which we had baked home to enjoy. Anna's teaching has taken our bread making to another level and we are so enjoying the new experience of making sour dough.
Thank you so much Anna. We are now looking forward to coming to see you in Croatia.

Anna's home bread workshop was such an enjoyable and value for money experience. Having tried making sourdough myself and not always getting it right, I have now learnt with Anna simple techniques to have success in every batch. Plus, she taught us the easiest 5 minute dough that can live in the fridge for up to a week and you can produce delicious focaccias, pizzas, boulle and naans in a flash. Since the course last Sunday I have produced 4 beautiful loaves of delicious sourdough bread. My family, and I, are over the moon. This is my third workshop with Anna and I would absolutely recommend any of her workshops and clubs. She is a great cook and teacher. She is also so lovely and her kitchen has a great atmosphere. Last but not least...the food we eat there is always so good!!!
A wonderful experience from start to finish (and beyond...)

Anna is a wonderful teacher - straightforward and clear - and creates a very warm and relaxed atmosphere. The class structure was very well designed so that we fitted in the maximum amount and got to really try the whole process for several different types of dough, while also having plenty of time to ask questions and taste different breads along the way too, and without ever feeling rushed.
I am amazed at how much we fitted into one day. I feel inspired both that I can make bread making a part of my rather random and busy schedule and that I will absolutely love doing it!
Can't wait for the next class...!

Exceptionally enjoyably and informate day, both practically and theoretically, Hands on ' experience from start to finish, with a delicious lunch to sample our creations.
Anna has a real gift for creating an informal atmosphere, with a small group of mostly strangers at the start of the Class with inspiring and very high level teaching, explaining many of the technical issues underlying baking good bread,
all embellished with her knowledge of the cuisine and cookery internationally.
All pulled off with great warmth and good humour!

Excellent day - entertaining, challenging and fascinating. I learned a lot about under used bits of the pig and about Catalan cuisine, as well as lots of general preparation/cookery skills. My favourite dish was the liver frit from Majorca (breakfast fry up). Both Anna and Rachel were very knowledgable and the day was well organised. Highly recommended.

Another excellent course by Anna. She always provides a warm and welcoming environment and plenty of inspiration for the home cook. On the day, It was impossible to choose a favourite game dish as they all tasted delicious, especially when enjoyed with the accompanying selection of wines. Techniques such as smoking and confit cooking were made easy by Anna's clear direction and the hands on approach. The biggest challenge was being patient whilst the tempting smells filled the kitchen.

I have attended many cooking demos and events and I can honestly say that the classes Anna run are the best. You really learn techniques, usually five, at each session. Always run in a welcoming friendly atmosphere you leave having gained confidence to cook the dishes at home. I have attended all her preserving classes and jam making now seems so easy.

This was the second time I attended one of Anna's workshops - I was so chuffed with the first class that my enthusiasm persuaded two friends to join me this time. There were 8 of us in the group, some coming alone, others in pairs- but all obviously sharing an interest in cooking. I think I can safely say we all had a great time AND learned an awful lot in an easy relaxed way from our expert host- ready with answers to all our questions; with delicious lunch in the middle, and then going home with our bag of precious preserves! I will be back! Thank you so much, Anna and Emma
Such an Enjoyable day!

My daughter and I attended the autumn preserving workshop and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We learned so much about making jelly/jam and pickles and will hopefully put this experience to use at home. Anna and Emma make everyone feel welcome and the camaraderie of the group was very much enhanced by preparing the food together and sharing the delicious lunch which we had. I highly recommend Anna's cooking classes.

Like visiting old, and very well informed, friends for lunch, turning up early, pitching in and learning how to make everything.
Great food and people. I had done a bit of smoking before but still learned loads.
Thanks Anna
